Townsend Detachment supported the Troy University ‘Troy for Troops’ fund raiser in Troy, Alabama. The Troy for Troops program sponsored a 5K race to benefit the National Cemetery’s, in Montevallo, fundraising efforts to build a memorial walk way and overlook.
Detachment members traveled to Troy and set up a booth, to meet and greet Troy area USMC veterans, encourage the runners, and support the event.
