BARRY, Rodney Worthington, 76, a resident of Montgomery, died Monday, May 27, 2002 in a local hospital.  Graveside services will be Thursday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. John Ed Mathison and Rev. Earl Andrews officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel.

Mr. Barry is survived by his wife, Margaret Aycock Barry and his children, Charlene and Rabun A. Chambless, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Amis B. and Tom Sellers, Rodney Worthington, Jr. and Gail Barry; one sister, Ethel Jenkins and three great-grandchildren, Sally Anne Chambless, Redington, FL, Jonathon Chambless, Navarre, FL and Susanne Sellers, Birmingham, AL.

Mr. Barry was a Veteran of WWII and participated in the American Victory at Iwo Jima. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a Lieutenant with the Montgomery Fire Department and was a very active member of the Bus Ministry at Frazer United Methodist Church.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Dossett, Eddie Rogers, John M. Harris and The Older Adult Ministry at Frazer United Methodist Church, The Marine Corps League and Past and Present Montgomery Fire Fighters.
