Townsend Detachment Meeting!

Our in-person meetings have resumed!!

Monday, September 19, 2022 is our next meeting. 

Fried Tomato Buffet on Atlanta Hwy near McLemore Drive lets us use a private room for our meetings and lets us use their internet connection for Zoom. 

Fried Tomato Buffet is on an "out-parcel" of the Walmart Supercenter (other out-parcel businesses there are Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q and Starbucks)  The address is 6561 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, 36117.

The buffet is delicious with a wide variety of "Southern" fare including, of course, fried green tomato.  Typically, fried chicken, barbeque, beef tips, and lots of vegetabes (corn, peas, blackeyes, green beans, etc.)  The buffet is $10 per person.  See their website (linked) for menu details.  You do not have to eat, but most of us do. 

When you enter and pay, you may indicate that you do or do not want a drink.  There is an attendant who serves our room and will appreciate any gratuity you care to leave.

A Note about Guests (wives, or others):

If you bring a guest so you can eat your evening meal togerther but perhaps you guest would prefer to skip the business meeting, there are many, many tables in the restaurant available for that purpose -- even though your guest is also welcome to attend the meeting.  The restaurant is not crowded during our meeting times, so you should have no problem finding a place.
